Oddas Chapel was built in 1056 by a relative of King Edward the Confessor, in honour of his brother Aelfric. The chapel incorporates many typical Anglo Saxon features. Entry is free.
St Mary's Church, built in 800 A.D is a fascinating mix of architecture from Saxon to Tudor the Saxon details are especially rare and noticeable. Open daily.
Both are rare examples of Saxon architecture which gives Odda’s Barn a truly wonderful setting for either walking a stretch of the Severn Way (longest riverside walk in England) or as a base to explore the medieval Abby town of Tewkesbury 10 minutes drive away.
The historic Regency Spa town of Cheltenham is just a 15 minute drive.
Odda's Barn can be easily reached off Junction 9 or 10 of the M5.
